The affordable apartments at Station Village at Avenel are designed to meet the municipal "fair share" of the growing need for affordable housing in New Jersey. Rental rates listed are approximate and subject to state and municipal guidelines. Station Village offers 50 one- two- and three- bedroom affordable apartments to income qualified applicants. Applicants must first qualify on the basis of gross annual income and are subject to a random selection.

We will process your application and send you a confirmation within a timely manner. Because this is a new property, a random selection will be held for all preliminary applications received on or before September 7, 2017. Subsequent to the random selection, applicants will be processed on a "first-come, first served" basis.

When apartments become available, we will contact a limited number of applicants who are on our list for the size and income category of the apartment that will be available. A final application and documentation to verify identity and income will be required and processed at that time. Since final applications are only processed when a specific apartment becomes available, we can not accommodate applicants' choice of floor plan.

The number of units at each pricing tier is limited. Prices and conditions are subject to change without notice. Minimum and maximum incomes will apply. To be eligible for this affordable housing program, the gross annual income of your household cannot exceed the program limits listed, above. Pursuant to state and local regulations, a preference will be given to households that live or work in COAH Region 3 (Hunterdon, Somerset and Middlesex Counties). The maximum income is based on the total number of persons who will reside in the affordable home. Maximum Incomes are adjusted annually and are subject to change without notice. The maximum rental rates and affordable housing restrictions are governed by this affordable housing program. Gas and electric are not included in the rent listed. All other terms and conditions of the lease are set forth by the landlord and their agents. Station Village is a development of Station Village at Avenel Urban Renewal LLC, which is not affiliated with Piazza & Associates, Inc. or Woodbridge township, except as specifically set forth in state regulations and local ordinance.
