The affordable apartments at The Alexa, are designed to meet the Borough's "fair share" of the growing need for affordable housing in New Jersey. Rental rates may change and are subject to state and local guidelines. The Alexa offers 18 one- two and three bedroom affordable apartments to income qualified applicants. Applicants must first qualify on the basis of gross annual income and are subject to a random selection.

Please note: The affordable apartments at the Alexa are not scheduled to be completed until spring of 2019. As such, there are no models of affordable apartments to view at this time.

We will process your application and send you a confirmation within a timely manner. Because this is a new property, a random selection will be held for all preliminary applications received on or before November 15, 2018. Subsequent to the random selection, applicants will be processed on a "first-come, first served" basis.

When apartments become available, we will contact a limited number of applicants who are on our list for the size and income category of the apartment that will be available. A final application and documentation to verify identity and income will be required and processed at that time. Since final applications are only processed when a specific apartment becomes available, we can not accommodate applicants' choice of floor plan.
