Welcome to Applewood Court, the latest development by CHA located in Cranbury Township in Middlesex County. Applewood Court offers 32 affordable one-, two- and three- bedroom rental apartments, available to qualified applicants whose combined household income meets the criteria for affordable housing.

Up to 5 of the affordable apartments at Applewood Court have been set aside for qualified veterans. In addition to being income qualified for affordable housing (see tables to the left), eligible veterans must also qualify under N.J.A.C. 54:4-8.10 and be able to provide form DD214 to verify active duty service during wars or in-country service during qualified conflicts. If you are interested in applying to rent an affordable home at Applewood Court in Cranbury Township, you can download an application by clicking on the Preliminary Application; e-mail us at Cranbury@HousingQuest.com; or call us at 609-786-1102, then press "5" to request an application. We will process your application and send you a confirmation within three weeks. Applications are processed on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

When an affordable home becomes available, we will contact a limited number of applicants who are on our list for the size and income category of the home that will be available. A final application and documentation to verify identity and income will be required and processed at that time. Since final applications are only processed when specific units becomes available, we can not accommodate applicants' choice of floor plan.

NOTE: Applewood Court and the apartments on Old Cranbury Road have a strict "No Smoking" Policy that prohibits tenants, guests, and visitors from smoking in or near the apartments. The apartments on Bergen and Danser Drives and Bennett Place (Parkside) do not currently have such restrictions.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

No deposit or application fee is required with a preliminary application. A deposit of $100 will required upon the submission of a final application. See the brochure for details. A security deposit equal to one month's rent will be required to rent.

The number of units at each pricing tier is limited. Rents and conditions are subject to change without notice. Minimum and maximum incomes will apply. To be eligible for this affordable housing program, the gross annual income of your household cannot exceed the program limits listed. The maximum income is based on the total number of persons who will reside in the affordable home. Maximum Incomes are adjusted annually and are subject to change without notice. The maximum rental rates and affordable housing restrictions are governed by this affordable housing program. Gas and electric are not included in the rent listed. All other terms and conditions of the lease are set forth by the landlord and their agents. Applewood Court is a development of Cranbury Housing Associates, Inc.
